It isn't a direct transfer per se as the show went back into redevelopment after the Almeida production. That culminated in a workshop for the new production last October so this version will likely be quite a revision from the London production.
It got mostly amazing reviews (including the NYT) and I enjoyed much of it but it had serious second act problems which they have hopefully addressed. It has obviously been reconsidered in terms of its size, given that it is going from a small arthouse in North London which seats around 200 to the cavernous Palace. |
