MARY JANE is being produced by MTC, not NYTW. As in, fairly certain they aren't getting royalties in the same way that they are with HADESTOWN.
For what it's worth, Nicola was the king of letting interesting shows workshop at the NYTW and then get poached by different non-profits ... JRB's "The Connector" is the latest example.
