| I do not really see why it would necessarily be a revival. Using "Riverside and Crazy" as an example, it is only a season or two older and has had from what I can research far fewer major productions than BRaC. It is the playwright's Broadway debut, a very minor point and hardly conclusive but one that can be used to argue that he was always on track to be produced on Broadway. The Tony committee by the way holds official meetings at which they hear and discuss the plays and the arguments from producers why they wish certain work to be placed in certain categories. Some committee members may have discussed their feelings about "Appropriate"but no official decision has been made. | |
