I was going to suggest 1964 as well. Burton’s Hamlet; Finney’s Luther; Scofield’s Lear; Alec Guinness in Dylan;; After the Fall; Barefoot in the Park; Hello, Dolly; Funny Girl; Bert Lahr in Foxy; Bea Lillie in High Spirits; She Loves Me; 110 in the Shade. Plus Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward, Kirk Douglas Claudette Colbert, Talullah Bankhead in unsuccessful ventures. And Anyone Can Whistle. Wish I’d been old enough to go to the theater then,
