Based on the documentary "Broadway: The Golden Age", many actors and actresses from the middle of the 20th Century seemed to think the greatest performance they ever saw was Laurette Taylor in "The Glass Menagerie".

The more I watch old Edward G. Robinson films, the more I see how great an actor he was. Recently watched "House of Strangers", co-starring Richard Conte, Susan Hayward and Luther Adler, which I highly recommend.
