On the flip side, some might say things will only survive if SOME people do buy at these prices, making it balanced for other tickets to actually be affordable.
Problem is the "afforable" tickets are still and continue to be very unafforable for most people.
The only way I've been able to see so much NY Broadway and Off theater over the years is rush tickets and lotteries. That's it. That accounts for 98% of NYC theater tickets I pay for. There would be no other way for me.
