| Last row of an off Broadway matinee a few weeks ago: she spent the first 20 minutes of the first act imploring the stranger sitting next to her to help her get her hearing device to function, then left to find a replacement. At intermission, the house manager gently chastised her for breaking both of them. Her response? To ask to be moved to a closer seat. Crazy like a fox! |
