I'm with you Singapore/Fling! I wish Andrews had called in sick and taken care of her voice. I saw Bernadette Peters in Gypsy early in the run. She was clearly struggling. About 1/2 way through act 2, nothing was coming out but air. It was uncomfortable to watch. After that experience, I've never complained about seeing an understudy.
