Someone on this board recently asked how something fundamentally flawed like LEMPICKA can make its way to Broadway ... it's because -- and no shame to the OP who enjoyed themselves at the show (we should all be so lucky!) -- there will always be a small portion of people who enjoy something, in spite/despite its inherent flaws. No accounting for individual taste.
But the majority have ruled and deem LEMPICKA a muddled mess. I'm glad that we got the absolute banger "Perfection" out of it ... I can't stop listening. Who wrote that song, and who wrote the rest of the score? |
