Iceboy

Sunday, May 19 at 6:30pm & 8:30pm

From the co-creators of the Broadway hits "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" and "Urinetown: The Musical", "Iceboy!" tells the absolutely untrue story of a 10,000-year-old Neanderthal who's discovered frozen in the Arctic, brought to New York, and adopted by Vera Vimm (Megan Mullally), the biggest Broadway star of 1938. But once thawed, Iceboy becomes an acting sensation whose talents threaten to upstage the once mighty Vera. It's "All About Eve" if only Eve were a caveman. The cast also includes Nick Offerman, Alex Brightman, and Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer.

La Perla

Tuesday, May 7 at 9:30pm

Often referred to as the 3 Colombian drum witches, La Perla is a one-of-a-kind percussion and vocal trio consisting of three of Bogota's best young musicians, whose powerful lyrics combined with intoxicating rhythms make for an unstoppable dance party. They represent and pay tribute to the Colombian Caribbean culture and tradition, while at the same time modernizing the genres with original music filled with politically charged lyrics based around feminism, indigenous struggles, and the power of Latinxs and the global south. A live show will hit multiple genres including bullerengue, cumbia, merengue, gaita, and kreyol champeta, all accompanied by their deep voices and punk rock attitude. This ain't your mama's drum trio, and it ain't what we used to call world music. It's three powerful modern women playing original music influenced by and based in the folklore of their country, who are also not afraid to challenge the traditions by adding the urban elements which define the contemporary Bogota that has shaped them.

Ariel Posen

Tuesday, May 14 at 9:30pm

Ariel Posen's music occupies the space between genres. It's a rootsy sound that nods to his influences — heartland rock & roll, electrified Americana, blue-eyed soul, R&B, Beatles-inspired pop — while still moving forward, pushing Posen into territory that's uniquely his own. Along the way, Posen has received standing ovations not only from his audiences, but also from outlets like Rolling Stone, who dubbed him "a modern-day guitar hero," Music Radar listing him as a fan voted top 10 rock guitarist of the year, and the Western Canadian Music Awards who nominated him for Breakout Artist of the Year in 2020 and 2021, as well as Rock Artist of the Year and Recording of the Year in 2022.
