I was going to say that they only gave away the plot for the first act, but then I remembered that the first movie is only the first act, so yeah, they've basically given away the entire plot of the movie.
Although no one is shown singing, it doesn't feel like they're hiding that this is a musical like we've seen with other trailers. But I guess that most of the audience for this movie is interested because they know the musical, so it's not something it would make sense for them to hide.
The trailer seems super-serious. I hope the tone of the movie is a bit lighter. |
