I think you may need to be in a certain age bracket to enjoy this show. Everyone I know who was a fan of Huey Lewis in the 80s seems to have had a blast and everyone else has hated it.
There are some excellent performances from supporting members of the cast, especially Tamika Lawrence and Billy Harrigan Tighe, but Corey Cott and McKenzie Kurtz gave two of the most dreadfully dull performances I've ever seen lead a Broadway show. |
