"That could allow Bart to get in, and it could also mean an awful lot of people in Stereophonics could get nominated."

re: "I think Roger Bart has a good chance. It seems like there aren’t that many talked-about Featured performances in most of the categories. That could allow Bart to get in, and it could also mean an awful lot of people in Stereophonics could get nominated."

I don't understand this at all.
Roger Bart is performing in a musical, and Sterephonic (despite the fact that it's eligible for Best Score) is a play.

So whether Roger Bart gets nominated has nothing to do with the featured actors in Stereophonic,
and how many featured performers (actor or actress) get nominated from Stereophonic has nothing to do with Back to the Future or any of the other musicals, since they'll only be in competition with other actors in the plays.

(For the record, Gold Derby currently predicts one featured actor and one featured actress each will be nominated from Stereophonic - but has Roger Bart just missing out on a nomination. Believe it or not, and talked-about-or-not, the competition for the featured musical categories is tougher than for the plays, both historically and this year – simply because the cast of plays is generally rarely as large as the cast of musicals.)
