Nothing stands a chance against Stereophonic.
But for the record, Appropriate was ruled eligible as a Revival.
Mary Jane may be from 2017 but it is not often produced like Appropriate has been, and Appropriate is form 2013. Mary Jane is from 2017 but also had 2-3 years missing due to covid for it to become part of the repertoire or whatever the Tonys says makes a new-ish play that's never been on Broadway a "revival".
I can't find any Tony rulings news that specifies Mary Jane being ruled as new or revival, but I'm assuming new (as it should be, I think it's far less debatable than Appropriate). |
