I'm sorry... Broadway is where shows go to really live, or be birthed fully to the world of theater. It's also got a masterpiece score and 2 lead roles that any male actor who can sing who is between 20 and 40 would kill to do, plus 4 incredible and unique supporting roles too.

It would be a brilliant show at Circle in the Square, or even the Booth.

If Broadway isn't too big for:
Kimberly Akimbo
The Band's Visit
Fun Home
A Strange Loop
Gutenberg!
Days of Wine & Roses
Falsettos (twice)
Violet
Spelling Bee
Title of Show
Story of My Life
Assassins
Passing Strange
Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Company -- I mean... Company is actually quite a small show and it's been produced on Broadway 4 times!

if all these shows (and more) that succeeded or failed can try a Broadway mounting, then it's worth putting Floyd Collins on Broadway. It's not actually as small a show as you think. It's a show that would fit beautifully in Playwrights Horizons AND the Vivian Beaumont, in my opinion.
