I remember reading something probably 15 years ago that said she had already played the role over 2000 times (both on Broadway and on tour). I wonder how many she is up to now. Could she hold the record for a leading performer having the most Broadway performances? I know Amra-Faye Wright played Velma for at least 10 years on Broadway off and on, so she may be the record-holder.
