I also count 11 original score contenders, but the list is a bit different. In order of opening:

Here Lies Love
Back to the Future
Harmony
How to Dance in Ohio
Days of Wine and Roses
The Notebook
Water for Elephants
The Outsiders
Lempicka
Suffs
The Great Gatsby

I would not call Illinoise a "jukebox musical" - that evokes something like A Beautiful Noise or & Juliet. I'd call it more a concept dance piece based on a concept album. But maybe that's semantics - the main point is that the music used in it was not originally written for the stage, so it wouldn't be eligible in the Score category. (It might be eligible in the Orchestrations category - I believe the songs were rather significantly re-orchestrated, but I could be wrong about that.)

I also would not consider Stereophonic to have a score. It's definitely a play with Original Music, and I would imagine that is where something like the Drama Desk Awards (which has a separate category for "Music in a Play") would consider the music. And while it is true that the Tony Awards allow for Plays to be considered in the Score category, I don't think the music in Stereophonic really gets there. The thing is - you don't really ever hear a full song. You hear snippets, sometimes many times in a row. And I believe there is talk that Arcade Fire will release an album of the music from the play (presumably with the "full versions" of the songs the group is recording.) But if you just look at the number of different pieces of songs in the play, I doubt it would meet whatever is the threshold for "amount of music" to be considered for the Score category. (Come to think of it, I don't think I have seen a threshold for this - maybe there isn't one?)

But the Tony Administration Committee will do what they will do, so who knows. But How to Dance in Ohio is definitely an original score (not a particular accomplished one, to my mind, but it's definitely eligible.)
