My friend's 3 year old brought along his SHREK THE MUSICAL dvd that his mother found in a bin for $1.99 or so.With all the Xmas craziness going on, I was the one who watched most of it and...SUTTON FOSTER was fantastic!!! It was a really fun production..well done. I had never been interested on broadway. Having seen Brian D'Arcy in SOMETHING ROTTEN and SPOTLIGHT, it seemed a shame to have him all covered up as Shrek but he was wonderful. Too bad all broadway shows can't be on a dvd/blu ray for posterity. I'll remember this Xmas as my Shrek discovery....

Now my first reaction to your header was "Oh, Cabbie watched BRIGADOON." :) But I agree with you on both counts. i'd love to have more commercial recordings of shows available and SHREK was an unexpected delight. Terrific cast with major comic chops. Laura
