I saw it at the Promenade, and I remember liking it very much. It was a three-character piece - Peter Friedman, Jan Maxwell, and Sian Philips, and all their performances were wonderful. I didn't know it had been made into a movie.

That cast sounds great. The movie (I think it was released in the last year or so) features Maggie Smith, Kevin Kline, and Kristin Scott Thomas. I thought Kline was somewhat miscast, but mostly the film had a mixed tone that didn't work for me.
