If you read between the lines, it is not really the font size that is bothering folk but the font choice and leading that makes the text hard to read.

People may say it is the font size because they do not know much about type. And if you increase the screen size as you suggest, the same clarity remains--but it is just bigger.

Exactly, the choice of a sans-serif font for all the text was misguided, IMO. While there will always be different opinions, it's pretty well established that a font with serifs, like Times New Roman, is much easier to read for paragraphs.

Also, the font used here is particularly bad on the front page because it's so thick/bold.

Hopefully feedback is incorporated into any changes.
