Liza and Cyril Ritchard doing bizarrely wonderful "Ding-a-ling" Christmas song
Posted by: PlayWiz 05:54 pm EST 12/24/15

from the "Dangerous Christmas of Red Riding Hood", a tv musical written byJule Styne and Bob Merrill. The interaction at :49 is especially notable, not only where Cyril's hand is (and if it is accidental or intentional) , but also Liza's reaction!

As Cyril says when Liza requests an encore, "Bless you!"

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukah, Happy Kwanza to all!

Liza seems to need medication--talk about foreshadowing!

I loved this as a child and I still love it. "Winter Was Warm" is a beautiful song. This is still my favorite version (other than the actual Dickens novella) of "A Christmas Carol."
