I just saw it, too. I hadn't thought I needed to see another King and I, but it was a perfect choice for my travelling companion. We were both thrilled with the show. The cast is incredible. And the orchestra! My only sad thought was when I looked across at many empty seats.

I saw The King and I last May and June. I had no problem with Watanabe (he is a fine actor) and enjoyed the show very much both times, and particularly loved Miles and Park. Kelli O'Hara was very good, sang well, but I just wasn't thrilled by her Anna. I saw Carolee Carmello in the part a few years ago and she was much more lively and believable. The orchestra and ensemble were all fine. Would return to the show with a new Anna.
