I really wasn't comparing our links to Google - just replying to the comment: I haven't seen blue/purple used for links in quite some time. :-)

I don't notice the blue and purple of the Google search engine result links. Their font is also different. I am not a typographer or whatever, but their font is so much easier on the eyes. The fact that a website would leave the visited/unvisited links at defaults of blue/purple is very odd.
