I strongly agree with the displeasure about the new design and especially the colors. The poster above is quite articulate about design and I find it unnecessary and rather irresponsible to suggest that users have to adjust preferences themselves. I'm sure that there are others here besides me who don't know how to do that and have no interest in figuring it out. This does not look better or serve the site well. Please fix it.
