You might also look at the title song of another Jones and Schmidt show, Celebration. The show is set on New Year's Eve, although the lyric for the song seems more specific to the winter solstice.

Indeed, the show is odd that way (Well, it's just an odd show, period, though I do like it a lot). There's even a Saturnalia celebration toward the end, and yet the show is clearly meant to be taking place on New Year's Eve.
