Though not specifically about New Year's, ONW has a great message of trying new things, taking some risks, and setting a new course in life, all things the changing of a year seems to prompt and nudge us to do.

Plus it's my favorite song from the show, and what I consider the show's "I Wish" song. Patrick doesn't specifically wish for anything, but it's the song that dramatically changes his arc and sets his new course.
