If you've ever stared at length at the financial statements of companies like CSC as I have, you'd understand that it is a miracle that they exist. You are right there are financial considerations, but people who devote their lives to keeping small NFPs afloat know a thing or two about the tradeoff between understudies and the possibility of canceling a performance. There is only one way to avoid this problem and that is to have a few extra fat cats floating around. I was inviting you to be one. |
