About 45 years of collecting. I have 4 bins that hold them sideway(staples on top). About 10 years ago, i ran out of space and so I went through them pulling out the articles and ads which reduced them by about a third. I would even make a playbill type for NTLive productions. During Covid, I did not have a printer so I wasn’t making them. I started not even collecting shows I don’t care for a few months ago. Two weeks ago, I went through two bins and threw away a lot of the local playbills of long forgotten shows. I’ll do that for the other two bins soon. That is getting rid of about half.

I have kept a list of all shows I’ve seen with A-E rating and one line blurb of plot. That is really what I rely on when I’m considering a revival to see what I rated it on whether to see again.

My mom’s collection has stuff from the 40s and my sister thought they are valuable. They aren’t. None are signed. Maybe a few might be worth $10-50 but it’s just not worth my time to post, sell and mail the few that might sell.
