54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Broadway Hits: Gay Edition - A Pride Month Celebration on June 6, 2024. In celebration of Pride Month, join us at 54 Below for a special night of the most flamboyant, unapologetic, and fierce Broadway tunes from musicals such as Falsettos, Kinky Boots, Rent, and more! You will sing and dance along to Broadway hits such as "The Games I Play," "Hold Me in Your Heart," and "Seasons of Love." There will also be a twist! We will be reviving songs from some of your Broadway show favorites and interpreting them through a queer lens. This will be a night full of stunning New York City performers and vocalists reimagining musical favorites and taking you on a journey through the ages of the funniest, saddest, but most importantly, inspiring queer-based musicals that have graced the Broadway stages. Channel your inner queen or king and get ready to slay the night away with us!

Broadway Hits: Gay Edition - A Pride Month Celebration plays 54 Below (254 West 54th Street) on June 6, 2024 at 9:30pm. Cover charges are $34.50 (includes $4.50 in fees) - $45.50 (includes $5.50 in fees.) Premiums are $73 (includes $8 in fees.) There is a $25 food and beverage minimum. MORE ABOUT DAVID MEDINA

David Medina is a singer, actor, and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. He recently moved to Brooklyn from Jacksonville, Florida where he took part in many productions such as Falsettos (Whizzer), Next to Normal (Dan), and Into the Woods (Wolf). David has also taken part in several cabarets in New York City including 54 Sings Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (54 Below), 54 Sings AJR (54 Below), and Duets With Natalie Weiss (The Cutting Room). This is David's producing debut at 54 Below and he is beyond excited to be doing so at his favorite cabaret spot in New York City!

MORE ABOUT LOUIS JOSEPHSON

Louis Josephson is an award-winning Juilliard-trained composer. As early as age three, Louis was influenced by different styles of music, ranging from classic rock in the car with his parents to classical music at the concert hall with his grandmother. Since then, his music has been performed and recorded by esteemed ensembles including The United States Air Force Band, The Juilliard Orchestra, Sirius Quartet, and The All-National Honors Concert Band. His music has been featured in various festivals including Tribeca New Music, Juilliard ChoreoComp, Jersey Fringe, National Association of Music Educators, MakeMusic, and Association of Concert Bands. His original musical Relapse: A New Musical recently ran Off-Broadway at Theater Row. He is published by Wingert-Jones Publications, Inc.; A Division of J.W. Pepper & Son, Inc. In addition to being a composer, Louis is a music director, keyboardist, percussionist, singer, and producer. He has music directed and played keyboards for multiple productions at 54 Below.

Sami Blake (She/Her) graduated from Ithaca College, receiving a BFA in Musical Theater in 2022. Some of her favorite credits: Legally Blonde (Paulette), Annie (Miss Hannigan), Rent (Ensemble), The Penelopiad (Helen of Troy/Melantho), and The Trail to Oregon (Mother). Sami is also extremely passionate about Body positivity and Mental Health Advocacy. Sami's main goal is to continue her best friend Eric Simon's legacy in all the art she creates. MORE ABOUT EMMA DAHLIN

Emma Dahlin grew up in a small town in Virginia where she fostered a love of performing and making people laugh. Most recognized for her performances with Disney entertainment, she has appeared as Rapunzel in Tangled: The Musical, Ariel in Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and Anna in Frozen, among many other branded Disney characters. Emma released her debut pop album titled NOW in 2021 with 13 original songs, available on all streaming platforms. You can find Emma in New York City auditioning for Broadway, performing at 54 Below, and helping children and adults achieve their dreams through performance and vocal coaching.


MORE ABOUT ALEXANDRA ROSE DEANGELIS

Alexandra Rose DeAngelis (she/they) is a NY-based stage, screen, and voice actor. Alex is a proud queer performer who is passionate about telling and uplifting stories. Select credits include: The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet), Dog Sees God (CB's Sister), She Loves Me (Customer #3/Amalia U/S), and As You Like It (Phebe). You can also hear them as the singing and speaking voice of Woh Ollum in audio verse award-winning audio drama ROGUEMAKER and as Claire Swift in the horror-musical audio drama Rocking Chair. When not performing, she can be found studying American Sign Language, practicing puppetry, caring for her rescue pets, and singing queer interpretations of songs in the shower. MORE ABOUT FERNANDO GARCIA

Fernando Garcia is a performer/singer/drag queen who has been involved with theatre since he was in middle school. He has been featured in roles such as Bernardo in West Side Story, Link Larkin in Hairspray and Jesus in Godspell. He has also been featured in Disney productions of Harmonious Live! and Disney's Christmas Spectacular on ABC. He is excited to be sharing light on the queer community through this production and is proud to be able to raise his voice for queer art for all.


MORE ABOUT J. GIACHETTI

J. Giachetti is a professional non-binary actor, Dramatist Guild playwright and lyricist, artistic director, and arts educator. Some of their previous creative/performance credits have been Orcus in She Kills Monsters, The Nurse in Romeo and Juliet, Wayne Hopkins in Puffs, Quasimodo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Harry in Company, the librettist and lyricist of the sold out off-Broadway musical Relapse (September 2023 at Theatre Row), playwright of critically acclaimed, Faith in Shackles and Inferno: A New Work About Sin, and director of The Tempest (2024), The Penelopiad (2023), She Kills Monsters (2022), Dog Sees God (2021), Laramie Project (2019), How I Learned to Drive (2019), and Rabbit Hole (2018). They are also the Community Engagement Manager, as well as a performing and teaching artist, with Staten Island educational theater company, IlluminArt Productions.

TV/Film: The 4:30 Movie, Northern Borders, "SNL." Other favorite credits: Elf (Jovie), Grease (Rizzo), Les Mis in Concert (Fantine). UCB/The PIT trained in improv/comedy.

Emilie Leyes (she/they) is a NYC-based actor, singer, brain training specialist, and hypnosis practitioner for performers. With a rapidly growing following of over 200K on Instagram, and over 900,000 on TikTok, Emilie has a dedicated and engaged community, many of whom are based in the New York City area and are involved in the theatre community. Emilie will be making their 54 Below debut in this performance.


MORE ABOUT MARKUS MANN

Markus Mann is back on stage after a 4-year hiatus. He is excited to make his return to the stage with his debut at 54 Below! With a professional theatre career spanning over a decade, Markus has performed all over the country. He made his international debut with Beautiful: The Carole King Musical in Manila in 2019 and the Asian premiere of Madagascar: A Musical Adventure where he played Alex the Lion. After his debut at 54 Below, Markus will be playing Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in Jacksonville, Florida this summer.

Lauren McCoig (she/her) is so happy to be returning to the Basement, and even more excited to do so during Pride month! Originally from Tennessee, she is an NJ/NYC based actor, producer, stage manager, and theater artist. Some favorite credits include A Funny Thing…Forum (Philia), Sweeney Todd (Johanna u/s), HAIR, The Wizard of Oz (Dorothy), and Main Character Energy: Songs From the 2000s at 54 Below!

Anania Williams (they/she) is an actor, singer, content creator, and drag artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Credits include: Lucky Stiff (Domonique-- NYC), Kinky Boots (Lola-- Chicago, IL), Into the Woods (Narrator-- Boston, MA), Hunchback of Notre Dame (Fredric- Mars Hill, NC), and Don't Look Up (Netflix Productions- Boston, MA). They'd like to thank their chosen family for being an amazing support system.


MORE ABOUT DAMON ROBERT WILLIAMS

Damon Robert Williams is a singer, actor, and dancer originally from Huntington Beach, California. Now, he is ecstatic to call New York City home with his dog Ozzy. He is a proud graduate of Syracuse University where he got his BFA in Musical Theatre. While he was there, he performed in numerous shows including A Chorus Line, Beauty and the Beast, and Matilda. When he's not on stage, you might catch him binge-watching the Real Housewives, where he finds inspiration for his next performance (table flip anyone?), and maybe one day he'll even be the next Real HouseGay of New York City! He is so excited to be making his 54 Below Debut!
